Library

John Willcock College Library welcomes you!

Our Library is a vibrant, cheerful and safe area where everyone is welcome. As well as being a learning space during class time, we are open every day, before school, at lunchtime and after school. All students are encouraged to come in during these times to enjoy reading, using computers, playing board games or just socialising in air conditioned comfort.

There are four members of staff based in the Library. We have two teacher librarians, Mrs Smith and Mrs Cotterell, who often work with classes to promote reading and provide students with a range of learning opportunities to evaluate and use information. We have two library officers, Mrs Dunn and Mrs Ennis, who keep the Library systems running smoothly and help students borrow resources.
